We loved our sunset Camel ride, a definite must do in Alice Springs. Our Camel was the gorgeous ‘Good Boy’ such a gentle boy. Definitely recommend. It was good to be picked up and dropped off at our accommodation. I was a bit concerned about getting on and off the Camel... An amazing experience, we did the sunset camel ride, the scenery was awesome. We were able to see a bunch of wildlife including two kangaroos (a mom with her Joey) birds and bearded dragon lizard. The staff were great and really took care of us. My wife was worried... 
Alice Springs camel tour. We tried to book it a few day prior to the expected date from viator tour website. But was fully booked. We went to travel centre in town centre, Was told fully booked. We tried to book directly from operator. We got it 2 hours before event.... We had booked our Sunset Camel ride for last Friday night. Unfortunately our flight to Alice Springs was turned around mid-flight on that day, and we were unable to attend our ride.
