Join Pyndan Camel Tracks to ride through the Ilparpa Valley up close to the MacDonnell Ranges, some of the oldest mountains in the world. Meet our gentle and friendly camels. Tour Options One hour camel rides The ride starts at Pyndan Camel Tracks yards and goes into White Gums Station. The tracks follows an avenue of Iron Bark and Mulga trees, across a clay pan flat, and climbs a slight incline to get sweeping views across the MacDonnell Ranges through Temple Bar Gap. If you want, Marcus will take your photo from here. Almost every day we see kangaroos and wallabies, many birds including budgies and birds of prey, and often lizards. People always say how relaxing and calm it is out on the ride. Come and join us!

RIDE AT OWN RISK Please be advised that you will be riding the camels at your own risk. Camels are usually placid animals, but like all animals they can sometimes be unpredictable. While every reasonable precaution will be taken to prevent accident and injury, the operator and owner will not be responsible for any accident or injury, however arising which may happen to any person in charge of, in association with, or in contact with any camels irrespective of the extent of injury, damage or loss sustained. This condition of contract may be pleaded by the operator and owner as a bar to any action claim proceeding for breach of contract, negligence or any other liability sustaining such injury, damage or loss.
