Generally group booking rides are held in the morning although it’s worth discussing other times with us. A minimum of 10 persons are required to tailor make a tour. We can include morning tea, lunch or other catering to fit in with your timetable. We’re flexible and enjoy working with you to create what you need.
Note that other groups have opted for half hour or shorter rides if their schedule doesn’t allow for the full one hour relaxation ride. If your group is larger than 18 people, we can schedule two rides. While one group rides, the other group can relax in our ‘camel lounge’ learning about camels, browse our camel-themed souvenirs, admire camel artwork and camel collectables, observe the camels at home in their yards, and enjoy the peace and serenity of outback Australia.
We can tailor make a workshop topic to interest your group to be held in conjunction with camel rides. Previous workshops held in conjunction with camel rides include:
- Learn to dot paint with Central Australian Aboriginal artists
- Felting technique with camel wool from our own camels
- Campfire cooking and sharing of life stories with Central Australian Aboriginal people
- Talks on history of Central Australian camels and industry
